I love Bicycling Magazine online. I read their website so much more than the printed magazine (and I subscribe to it). It’s a much bigger data base of resources for training. I admit that I don’t do everything that I should in my training, but some of the Bicycling online articles for training, have definitely improved my racing.
So I wanted to share some of the great information that you can find on Bicycling.com. It’s much easier to get fast than you might think, and do what works for you.
Here is a great article that I came across on the Training Peaks website. Stretching will increase you flexibility and therefore, help in improving your bike skills. Adding a simple stretching routine won’t take much time out of our busy schedules. This article discusses and shows you 4 challenging stretches that will target the hips, glutes, calves, and hamstrings.

(Nov. 4, 2015) – USA Cycling announced the 2016 Professional Mountain Bike Cross-Country Tour (Pro XCT) and Professional Mountain Bike Gravity Tour (Pro GRT) calendars on Wednesday. “We have two world class professional mountain bike calendars in the Pro XCT and Pro GRT, and they will be even better in 2016,” said Micah Rice, USA Cycling Vice President of National Events. “As next year will feature new events and the U.S. Cup Pro Series enters its third year, we look forward to showcasing the best in the world with these two series.” The nine-race Pro XCT begins March 12, while the seven-race Pro GRT kicks off May 7.
